It stopped my large breakouts and I like the balance of different topical treatments between the wash and moisturizers. I will say, it is drying as it suggests but balancing out the right routine and frequency for you will help. 4/5 rating because I still need more time to see how I enjoy the product long term and I also feel like it doesn’t help with my hyperpigmentation, and in some cases it leaves marks from my acne bumps as apart of the process. In this, I can tell it’s working but it’s still something to navigate. I suggest switching between the benzoyl peroxide & retinol at night or including a toning brightener of some sorts to help (again caution to drying and irritation). Always add in products slowly and sparingly to be safe!

My journey with mdacne
Its my second week using mdacne and my skin is slowly improving! For the first week i had dryness and breakouts, and usually id be afraid of that, but mdacne kindly warned me beforehand of what to expect during the first two weeks, and i was told it is just my skin purging and preparing for the change in products, and now on the second week it is feeling smoother, less dry, and nicer to touch! My forehead acne has cleared up completely and now its just my cystic pimples are slowly coming to a head. Im so confident in this brand that i already ordered another moisturiser and cleanser.

I really like the pore strips! They seem to work better if I let a warm washcloth sit for 15 minutes give or take prior to putting the patch on. However, they do leave a little residue after, but it washes of with water no problem!
